Type of box: The INKEY List used a straight tuck box. Size is 2.75” x 3.75” x 1.5”. The box also includes an internal partition to hold the smaller bottle securely inside a larger box.
Sustainability: Here is where The INKEY List shines. The carton, bottle, and cap are all recyclable with the cap and bottle being made from at least 50% recycled plastic. The INKEY List publishes an Impact Report every 6 months which describes what the company is doing to help “People and Planet”.
Printing & embellishments: The box was printed in black ink and had lots of white space as well as black solids. The thoughtful design stands out on the shelf simply for its starkness. One unique feature about this package is the box has a perforation along one of the sides. The end user can separate the box along the perforation and access more information from The INKEY List, including their planet impact, ask Inkey (in this box, they tell the difference between hydrating and moisturizing), as well as listing their website and how to contact the company. This eliminates the need for an additional paper insert.
